How long is the assistance available for?

As of now, this program is only available during the month of November. 

How long will it take for my application to be reviewed? 

After the completion and submission of your application, you will receive an email confirming that the City has received your application. Please allow up to 72 hours for your application to be processed and reviewed. You will then receive another email regarding the status of your application. 

If I am approved, when and how can I access my financial assistance? 

Please refer to the email from the City concerning the status of your application. The email has information about when and where you may retrieve your financial assistance. 

Are residents without immigration status allowed to apply for this program?

Yes! Any resident that receives SNAP benefits is eligible to apply.

I am having difficulty filing out the application; where can I go for in-person help? 

Please visit your local Community Hub for further help with filing out the application online. Please find the addresses of the Community Hubs on the Learn More page.

For questions pertaining to my own personal application, who should I contact?

Please send us a Support Request form, which can be found on the Learn More page. The team will respond to you within 24 hours. 

If I do not have the required documents when I first start my application, can I save my application and resume when I have the documents?

Yes! You can save your application and resume it later. Please remember your login information to be able to access your application and complete it later. 

Can I apply for the program more than once? 

No. Applicants are only allowed to submit 1 application.

What can I use with my financial assistance?

You may use it for the following:
Household utilities (water, gas, internet, etc.)
Rent/Mortgage Payments Rental Arrears
Transportation
Childcare
Co-pays for health provider visits and prescriptions
